You know, guys. The strange thing about this poem is that I don't know what it's about. You know how you get a line that you love, so you decide to make something out of it, regardless of whether or not it means anything to you? Well, that's what I did.
Most of the early works here were transferred from a site I used to publish on before HOP was created. Basically, they're pretty old - ranging from 3-4 years ago. Please visit the homepage by clicking the Heart on Paper title in the upper left hand corner to view my most recent works, or start from the beginning to see the transition from new writer to now.
The Original Heart On Paper (HOP)
Welcome to the original Heart on Paper (HOP, for short). It was started over four years ago after I had the pleasure of taking my first writing course. There are great new features on HOP, including a poll, a list of some interesting blogs, and my followers! Comments are always appreciated, and I try and post a new poem every few weeks.
This blog started with my very first writing course about four years ago. My main goal is to make it simple for every reader to relate every poem back to his or her own life. I want you, and any other person reading this, to think that anything is possible; that no matter what, a person can put their Heart on Paper!

I like this, Short but really nice!
Thanks Adam! I was really just brain dumping here...again.
This is almost exactly like the Dean Martin song "Return to Me"- read the lyrics: http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/returntome/returntome.htm
Isn't it basically required of you to brain dump here?
Oh I love Dean Martin! But oddly enough, I've never heard that song. I'll check it out and compare!
Too true about brain dumping. But still, I like my work to be cleaned up and final.
Nice Poem
Hey Andrew. Haven't heard from you in a while. Where have you been? Thanks, though!

Uh huh. I guess I'm so used to finding hidden meanings in your poems that I thought this was about... something...
