Barrier

She comes as a false witness,
Separating us by rights.
But for how long?

She comes as a journey,
Keeping us along rough paths.
But will it always be this way?

She comes as a barrier,
Splitting us apart.
But we will be together soon.

Good Job Bela,
Sorry 'bout the meaning behind this one. I didn't know it would happen, I thought it was something else. Anyway, nice poem, and I hope you write a lot more poems like this (I mean not like angry depressed, but like nice...) whilst you are at CWP. Good Luck!

Thanks Andrew! And sorry about you-know-what. Quick question: why is the screen name rainos?

Bela said...

And no Maddie...it's Andrew.

Maddie said...

ooooooooooooo. why'd he switch from andrew? it made it clearer.

Andrew said...

Oh I used my blogger account before, and I just claimed it, but yeah it is still me, I just hadn't changed the screen name.

o that's cool. i guess when i see ~A with any name, I'll know it's you.

Bela said...

So now that we have that covered...
Andrew: were you the one going on the blog saying "Hey, it's a friend." and going by A? I got kind of freaked out.

Maddie said...

o yeah, i was thinking about that. i thought that that was definately Augusta.

Bela said...

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Maddie said...

hmmmmmmmmmm, well.........

Andrew said...

I think so.... I can't remember how many comments I have left on this blog (too many!) yeah it was probably me but I can't remember, maybe or maybe not...

Bela said...

Oh, alright...well, I like that you're commenting still!

Yay! We're at CWP right now!

AHEM. Is this about a jealous ex-girlfriend coming between you and the person you like?? Maybe?? I guess you finally found who the A friend was...

Maddie said...

yeah, was it bela?

Bela said...

Oh no, it wasn't an ex-girlfriend...I'll tell you later!

Gina said...

You know you will, or else...

Just kidding, that's creepy.

Or an overprotective mother not allowing two young people to date?? And Andrew, Bela writes an awful lot of angry depressed poems, I don't think this will change anytime soon.

Bela said...

You got it right Gina! Except for the description of her...

And they are not depressed! If there's something on my mind, I try to put an emotion into a piece of writing...and normally it comes out in different ways because I get confused.

Andrew said...

Angry and depressed? You should see my novel. Just kidding.

Bela said...

Haha! See, Gina. I told you...it's a writing style, not an outlook on life. Thanks Andrew!

Maddie said...

bela, they can be a little depressed, and you do tend to get deeply into whatever emotion it is you are writing.

Bela said...

Actually, when writing, being able to put yourself into a certain emotion full heartedly is an excellent trait to have.
