My Everything

They say in the shadow of the sun,
there is hope.
A new day has begun,
And there are new chances.

They say in the light of the full moon,
there is possibility.
That anything can happen
in that moment.

They say in the sparkle of the stars.
there are dreams.
And when wished upon,
your dreams come true.

You are my
sun,
moon,
and stars.
You are my everything,
and I wouldn't have it
any other way.

Incredible poem. I like it a lot.

Here's a verse from a O.A.R song called patiently:

"Patiently,
It's not all right,
You didn't put up no fight,
But the sun, the moon, the stars,
All mean nothing without you,"

I just thought that it was ironic. Wow this is my second realllly long comment. Anyway if you haven't already, go back through the other poems and answer the psycology question about the labyrinth and Alaska.

P.S~ FIRST COMMENT... Again.

Wow! That is definitely ironic. I'll go and answer the question...

Hmm...could the pirate queen be Emma? If so, thanks!
(Either way, thanks!)

Well, of course the person it was written for would think it was incredible...just kidding, it is good. :D I like how the three original ideas are summed up and given an identity at the end. Some of the ideas are a little clicheed for you, but I'll let it slide... Did you mean to put a period instead of a comma in the first line of the third stanza?

Oh Gina...and yes, I did mean to do that. Also, O.A.R. is a band.

I would just like you all to know that while I was reaching for my book under a chair that was far away from me, Maddie pushed me and I think I sprained something in my arm. I am now typing with one hand. THANK YOU, MADDIE.

O.A.R stands for Of A Revolution! I just got the new O.A.R CD yesterday night, and have already listened to it four times in a row. That's four O.A.R-tastic hours.

Oh wow! I didn't know it stood for that! I guess you learn something every day...
