Time

The world froze around me
I'm sure for you, too.
I never did know
I had to look for you.

But I found you,
or maybe you found me.
And we walked past the statues
that we could no longer see.

And our hands touched,
finally we were together.
And sparks flew into the air
as we soared off forever.

Here is your cheesy-no-depth-based-on-a-dream poem.

I thought I ordered fries with this, not chopped stanzas! I want to speak with your manager, young lady!

haHA. fun-NEE. Is it really choppy? I thought it was one of my better pieces. *sarcastic comment, obviously*

But was it?

Can I get some nachos with that cheese?

Bela, I have to break it to you-- this was like a no-effort poem, and it shows. It's pretty cliche.

Love ya!

*puts hands above head as Bela brandishes some form of weaponry*

Haha! No, don't worry...I know. I didn't like this one, either. It was for you guys. So cliche, right?

This reminds Maria of the poem Noah wrote in a parody of your style a while back...

Yes, they really are short, undeveloped lines. The last part was sappier than a maple tree when sugaring season is in full swing.

Nice simile. I couldn't agree more.

That is a simile...right? I think it is...

Sorry, my brain is in a fritz. I guess that's what 6 straight hours of studying American History does to you. :)

This is so Princess Unicorn Bunny Kitten Angel. (If you didn't look it up from Gina's comment on another poem, here's your chance! :D)
