Take my hand,
let's run away.
There's no one here,
no reason to stay.
Come run with me,
maybe we'll float to the stars.
We found a way when we began.
We've reached the edge,
let's jump while we can.
If we make it through,
I'd love to tell them all.
Keep your chin up,
don't look down.
We're falling fast,
let's hope we don't drown.
Those tears of yours
don't ever seem to stop.
There's not a trace,
where have we been?
What kind of hope
can we find within?
There's a fading sadness,
will we ever be the same?
let's run away.

A dentist.
Maria got it at the same time I did.
Nice! Haha, you guys are fast!
So...poem?
Why are so many of your poems about escape? And then, somehow, nothing really changes after the attempt to escape is made-- "We're falling fast,/let's hope we don't drown./Those tears of yours/don't ever seem to stop." And the last stanza ends the poem rather bewilderdly.
Bewildered-- does that have something to do with becoming so clueless as to be compared with a wild animal?
Yay! An actual person! Haha, kidding...but thanks for stopping by :)
Well...yeah, that's definitely my theme of the moment...but the ending is supposed to leave the reader hanging, as the events have left "me" hanging by a minute or moment and I just don't have a clue about what to do.
I meant for you to look up the etymology, eighth grader XD
Um...for what, exactly? Sorry, it's been one of those days. :)
bewildered
Um...so this is one of those do-what-I-say-little-eighth-grader-or-I'll-squash-you moments?
No, I was totally kidding :) But I'm actually interested in knowing where it comes from.
WORD VERIFICATION: demagica :) ha ha
Haha! Oh, gotcha :)
So what's new in the world of Gina? (/Maria)
Well, Maria just participated in the New England Music Festival... they sounded really good :) The car ride home was really fun[ny] because we were driving two other students home... ask about "Grandpa Turtle"
Hey! That's great! How did she do?
Okay...what about "Grandpa Turtle"?
They sounded fantastic :) I meant ask Maria.
Psst... if you want to say hi to Tony, he commented on Maria's latest addition to the CWP site.
Hee hee. :)
I know! I just saw...I'm going to have fun with this one :)
But don't worry, Maria...you know I wouldn't embarrass you too badly :)
Just Kidding. I'll try not to embarrass you :)
Key word- try. ;)
Pretty much...yeah :)
How's the novel coming, Miss Bela?
Not at all bad, Miss Gina. I haven't had much time to write lately, (Note the date of my last post...) But I'm almost done with the book, believe it or not. I'm trying really hard to drag out the ending events that way it's a little longer...do you guys know the exact length of a novel?
Is that a trick question? I generally think of a novel as being 150-200 pages long; a novella, 25-90 pages long. So that's some gray area... Hm.
By the way, I did look up the etymology of bewlidered for myself, seeing as you wouldn't do it for me. ;)

Contest for best definition!
Flyzinne: a large rope used to tie a yacht at a dock.
Haha, then I have a novel so far! Right now, in book format, 1.5 spacing, 14 font, I have 140 pages :)
Well, technically right now I'm under, but I'm not done yet :)
Nice :)
Let's do it again!

Hey-- if you want examples of voice, go to shwyd.blogspot.com. It's a really cool site anyway-- people send in their stories of a day in their life (shwyd= So, how was your day?) It's interesting because it's a mix between crucial, defining days of one's life and just normal days for the writer. I think you should check it out (can you tell I'm a fan? Haha.)
Radab: a thin cream or ointment used to soothe itchiness or irritation on one's knees.
Cinquain? Possibly...I'll try it if I can...
Haha! I'll definitely check out that site! Sounds like fun :)
