Color My World

Blind eyes wander
through roads of
blurred memory,
a fragmented past
remaining shadowless
under the stupor of a white sky.
Colors blaze,
clouding glassy vision
as flaring silhouettes
escape mind's eye.
The world succumbs to uniformity
as delusion
intertwines with reality;
a distorted perception
in the labyrinth of ability.
Agonizing beauty
renders each sense useless
as impossible symmetry
becomes uncontrollable;
a silent barrier.

No wonder all of your poems have so much color in them...I never thought about it until now.

Haha, yeah...I try and incorporate color in my writing because it's everywhere, and it's never made sense for me to leave it out :)

I miss you, too! Jeez, I just realized I haven't posted in a while...more than a while. I better fix that.
