Withheld

Hearts race
with thoughts that collide;
the pulse of humanity
swelling within hollow veins.
Midnight shines
through transparent skin,
innocence clinging
to phantom memory
as glass eyes shatter.
Forbidden agony emerges,
and teardrops burn,
cascading down flushed cheeks.
Resentment
gently fades to regret,
as faces blur and disappear
into memory.
Ashes
are swept into the wind,
drifting into an endless road.
Set me free.

Ugh all I can think right now when I read this is vampires...you're going to have to help me out a little bit here.

Just think of entrapment, the phrase "set me free", unable to escape. YOU CAN DO IT! Haha =)

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

An old lady looking back at a life of heartbreak. Haha I have no ideas

Actually, all I wanted you to get were those feelings. If you did, and you can relate to them, I feel accomplished. Whee! Haha

HAHAHA! I'm so dense that I can't even tell when you just want me to be free haha
